About the Creator

Welcome. I'm so glad you're here. My name is Serena, and I consider myself a resistant relaxer — someone for whom stillness has never come easily. It took me a long time to find meditation techniques that truly resonated with my own mind and body, and even longer to settle into a practice that felt sustainable. If you can relate to that, you're in the right place. This course is my attempt to share the best of what I've learned, with the firm belief that if I can do it, so can you. I've studied meditation techniques drawn from lineages including Tibetan Buddhism, Shaiva Tantra, Classical Yoga, and creative contemporary adaptations — and I hold a master's degree in health communication from Northwestern University, where I focused on how these practices can be integrated into real people's lives. I hope this course feels less like a curriculum and more like an invitation to explore. There's no one right way to meditate — only the way that works for you.
